*~Pinky Paradise Review~* Circle Lens Haul: EOS, Vassen Lollipop [Image Heavy!]

Last month I decided to treat myself to new circle lenses and tried a new lens website from what I normally use. In the past I have used Honey Color and have been pleased with the service but wanted to explore other options as well.

I decided to try a store that many of my friends use; Pinky Paradise!

I had heard nothing but good things from them and even had a recommended product that I wanted to buy!

Right away, one of the things I really liked about Pinky Paradise's site was that with most of their lenses, they have multiple links to buyers wearing them and reviewing them from their facebook page, some labeled with "light eyes" or "cosplay" which I found extremely helpful in deciding on lenses for myself, since I have light eyes.

 All of my lenses (for cosplay mostly) had expired and it was time to replace them. So I went with my 2 basic pairs and two new colors!

I was very pleased with how fast my order got to me, I didn't pay for any special shipping neccesarily, the price for shipping was very reasonable and included a tracking number.

When my package arrived, it was securely mailed but what I think I liked the best was how the lenses themselves were packaged (I'm a sucker for the little things like packaging)

 for each pair of lenses ordered you receive a macaroon case

all the lenses were securely wrapped in pink foam to keep the vials from breaking

For both of the Vassen lenses (brown and green) I was super impressed! They are very comfortable, you barely feel like you're wearing them at all! The color is wonderfully vivid and gives a very nice doll appearance, perfect for cosplay, fashion, or anywhere you need a dramatic look. Both worked very well at covering my natural color. Additionally, I sometimes have difficulty putting lenses in, but these went in comfortably on the first try!!!!!

The G&G Blossom (blue) was also a super wonderful pair. Wonderful comfort, bold color, and again- easy to insert!

The only pair to disappoint me this go-around was the EOS Ice Pink. I was expecting the color to be more vivid around the edge of my eyes. Instead it blended a bit too much for my liking with my natural blue/green and towards the iris the color ended up greying a bit, giving my eyes a bit of a clouded/grey look instead of blue with a pink edge. When paired with pink makeup and a pink wig though, they did stand out a bit better.

  As for comfort, this was the only pair I had trouble inserting; it took me much longer to successfully get them in and when I first tried them, they were not as comfortable as the others. I checked to make sure and I did not have them inside out, they just were not as comfortable. The lenses themselves seem to be a bit thicker than the other brands and that may have a lot to do with it.

Lychee Drops

I love love love love love LOVE these!!! The container is small but durable and fits nicely into any bag or pocket. They're wonderful if you start to feel a bit of dryness or discomfort to just drop one or two in each eye and voila! They almost have a cooling effect as well, very refreshing!

TL;DR

-Pinky Paradise is a wonderful site to order from, you can see many worn pictures from customers and shipping is super reasonable. 

-Vassen Lollipop and G&G Blossom are amazingly comfortable and vivid 10/10 would suggest

-EOS Ice are not as vivid as the picture floating around Facebook makes them out to be. They are a bit thicker and were not as comfortable as the other 3 pairs I ordered. Still cute for fairy kei though.

-BUY THE LYCHEE DROPS OK?! They are seriously awesome and helpful especially if you're going to a con and may not have access to your lens cases/solution/other drops in case of dryness or discomfort.
